Talking Therapy
Through many years of research CBT has been proven to help those struggling with mental health difficulties. We do this through understanding how we think, feel and behave in the here and now. We will look at the patterns and what maintains our difficulties, how we can adapt them in order to improve our general wellbeing.
CBT is a collaborative talking therapy where we will learn practical tools and techniques in order to reach your goals. We will make a clear plan together in our sessions to see how we will bring about these changes. In my practice, I will also use techniques and understanding from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy techniques and Compassion Focused Therapy techniques depending on individuals needs.
